China’s Commodity Demand Rides Out External Headwinds: China imported the most copper in 16 months in September and iron ore shipments hit their highest in eight months despite a narrowing trade surplus indicating weaker external demand. This suggests China's habit of buying on dips will continue and should lend support to prices that took a beating last month.
