A High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE) on food security and nutrition operating under the auspices of the UN Committee on World Food Security (CFS) has released two new reports on Price Volatility and Food Security and Land Tenure and International Investments in Agriculture.
The documents will feed into discussions at the upcoming CFS annual meeting at FAO headquarters in Rome, from 17 to 22 October.

CFS is the foremost international and intergovernmental platform for debate and follow up of policies and coordination of action related to world food security. The role of the HLPE is to provide scientific, knowledge-based analysis and advice on food security and nutrition policy issues to the Committee.
