Trayport Limited, leading provider of multi-asset broker trading solutions, today announced that energy and environmental markets broker Evolution Markets has gone live using its GlobalVision Broker Trading System for trading European power. Evolution Markets has been a Trayport client since 2005, using its Broker Trading System for European carbon trading.

Evolution Markets is the world's highest volume environmental broker, having facilitated more than $75 billion in trades of environmental commodities in 10 years. Formed in 2000, the company has become a green markets leader, leveraging experience in the global carbon emissions, renewable energy, weather derivatives, and over the counter (OTC) coal, natural gas, nuclear fuel and biofuels markets.  It will now use Trayport’s GlobalVision Broker Trading System to trade both physical and financial European power from its London operations.
