OpenLink sets Transaction Lifecycle Management roadmap

SunGard’s Infinity Process Platform is now available from the Eclipse Stardust project, an open source business process management (BPM) suite designed to help improve the infrastructure behind many of the finance industry’s key operations. The Eclipse Foundation supports an open source community that aims to create a common, shared development platform for building, deploying and managing software.

OpenLink expand suite of Dodd-Frank regulatory compliance solutions

OpenLink Financial LLC, a leading provider of cross-asset trading, risk management and operations processing software solutions, has announced plans to expand its suite of Dodd-Frank Regulatory Compliance solutions with The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) service for Swap Data Repository (SDR) reporting. This solution will soon enable interest rate, credit and commodity market participants to comply with U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) SDR reporting requirements resulting from the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

SunGard enhances Aligne for Dodd-Frank and NatGas

SunGard has extended Aligne, its energy trading and risk management (ETRM) solution, to help customers comply with the Dodd-Frank Act and find new opportunities in the growing natural gas market. The upgrade also offers an array of new features to help optimize the operations of natural gas market participants such as pipelines, Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) and storage operators. These include scheduling and workflow integration of marketer gas operations with pipeline operations; enhanced storage functionality, such as injection/withdrawal nomination validation for storage ratchets; and expanded pipeline allocations, nominations and actualization functionality.

EEX and ECC offer OTC registration via EFETnet

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) and European Commodity Clearing (ECC) are offering their participants a new and straight-forward solution for clearing OTC transactions. With immediate effect, EEX and its clearing house are connected with the EFETnet network. EFETnet is operated by the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) and provides traders with a platform for the registration of OTC transactions at various exchanges and trading venues, including EEX.
