Tokyo, 11 August 2009 

The Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) approved the listing of the 5 ETFS Metal Securities Series. The ETFs track the prices of gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and precious metals baskets and are scheduled to be listed on Monday, August 24, 2009. 

These ETFs are foreign ETFs managed by the European-based ETF Securities Limited and are multiply-listed on the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Boerse, etc.

With this new listing, there will be a total of 67 ETFs listed on the TSE market. The TSE set out a goal of 100 ETFs listed by 2010 in its Mid-Term Management Plan, and will continue to work toward diversifying the ETF lineup and enhancing the convenience of the market.
