The 133 year-old Exchange continues to dominate the base metals world as it broadens its global reach. The LME continues to ride the wave of increased activity and participation in the industrial materials sector and appears determined not to let its dominance wane.

Developments at LME Asia and its respective tie-ups with collaborators will provide the challenge for the Exchange in the next few years – in order to extend its reach, enhance its technology, and open up new channels of communication and links with others.
