ICAP plc has expanded its base metals broking business with the recent hire of Francis Asher. Asher joins ICAP Securities Ltd. from commodities trading firm Manro Haydan. 

ICAP began broking London Metal Exchange ( LME) base metals in January 2009, with a Category Two membership of the LME. ICAP offers broking services in futures, forwards and options on LME metals contracts.

Robert Rees, Managing Director, Global Base Metals, said: "We are continuing to build out our LME business focusing on bringing individuals with a modern approach and strong experience in trading base metal derivatives."
