BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Briggs to its Commodity Derivatives business as Senior Metal Markets Strategist. Stephen, who starts today, will be servicing the Trading and Sales desks, but also the Commodity Derivatives Hedge Fund and Commodity Investor groups.

Stephen will report to Harry Tchilinguirian, Head of Commodity Markets Strategy and joins from RBS Global Banking & Markets where he was a commodity strategist, focusing on base and precious metals markets. Prior to that, Stephen was the metals analyst for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking for more than 10 years. He brings with him 30 years of extensive experience in metals analysis and minerals economics gained from the financial and independent consultancy communities.
