Sydney, 3 November 2009

Newedge, a global leader in multi-asset brokerage, has been awarded top honors in two categories at the prestigious Energy Business Awards Asia (EBAA). Newedge Australia’s energy team won gold awards in the categories of Excellence in Energy Broking and Emission Markets Asia, two out of five areas recognized by the EBAA.

The results of the awards were announced and presented at the 25th APPEC Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference in Singapore on November 3rd, 2009.

Newedge Australia has been a global pioneer in environmental broking. The company executed the first brokered transaction in the Australian Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS).
