Eurozone bond auctions soothe nerves

Thursday 10.10 GMT. Benchmark Italian bond yields have fallen decisively below 7 per cent as Spain and France both executed successful bond auctions, offering the first signs that a co-ordinated move by central banks to boost global liquidity is improving the ability of peripheral eurozone countries to borrow.
