Fears of inflation are simplistic and overblown

When it comes to inflation, many commentators have lost sight of strong empirical evidence. Since the US Federal Reserve embarked on quantitative easing in early 2009, fears over inflation have increased, but recent evidence suggests slowing underlying inflation pressures in the developed world.
