As new regulations such as Basel III and Dodd-Frank are introduced, firms are beginning to recognise they will soon be under intense pressure to improve their risk management capabilities. A new unified information architecture needs to be designed for the improvement of data quality, significantly higher data volumes, and much greater computational speed.
