Economics of Physical Metal ETFs

Concerns over the impact of physical metal Exchange Traded Funds: In this note we have a look at the economics of various metal investment options, to evaluate the risk of significant inflows into physically backed base metal ETFs. If ETFs increased assets under management significantly, they could become a ‘dominant’ position holder.
