Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX) said commodities volumes transacted have grown strongly from a year ago.
- As of 31 December 2010, there were 47 companies listed as members of Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange. The membership consists of brokers and commodity traders.- Futures market volume for December 2010 was 37,550 contracts, with an average daily volume of 1,251 contracts.
- Since the first launching of the Crude Palm Oil contract (CPOTR) on 21st May 2010, ICDX has seen the volume of CPOTR contracts transacted grow 947% (from 116 contracts on launching date, to 1,215 contracts as of 30 December 2010).
